2 DOF ultra high dynamics pick and place robot

Fatronik jhas published a new 'Exploitable Result' for the NEXT project on its website: '2 DOF ultra high dynamics pick and place robot'.


It consists in the development of a novel 2 DOF architecture for ultra high dynamics pick and place tasks with this characteristics:
  • Acceleration: 30G – 50G
  • Precision: <>
  • Payload: 2 Kg maximum
  • Adept cycle (25/700/25): 0.3 s
  • Market focus: agribussiness, electronics
And this is its current status:


  • Architecture of robot selected
  • Parameter optimization fulfilled
  • Manufacturing of first prototype under process
  • Rigid model control development
